PageRank is a search engine ranking algorithm developed by Google that scores web pages using a weighted score, from 0 – 10. Sites on the low side of the scale have less links, less engagement, and in turn, less trust. The higher the PR of the page, the higher the domain authority and trust. In turn, the page is usually rewarded with higher rankings.
